Today consisted of me packing different colored Tic Tacs and hot tamales into packages for Boss. There are no orders to do, so I am stuck packing candy. And eating candy. I was recruited and hired to work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Guess what? 5 days into the new job and told that there is going to be half of my shifts as 10am to 7pm. Guess what? I would NOT have taken this job had he been forthright about that LITTLE fact up [...]

I’m now working somewhere different. I’m working at a fairly innovative long-term care setup where the nursing home being serviced currently is out-of-state. I see a lot of potential there, definitely, but I still wonder and second guess my decision to leave hospital pharmacy. Was it the right thing to do?
